he National Weighing Instrument Standardization Technical Committee is engaged in technological working organization of national standardization work in weighing instrument. It’s responsible for standardization technological working of the professional technical fields of weighing instrument.It’s established in October of 1987,the code is CSBTS/TC97.It’s set up and issued the seal by the old State Bureau of Technical Supervision.Now administered and in the charge of the National Standardization Management Committee(People's Republic of China National Standardized Administration Bureau）and China Light Industry Committee .
Now the member of National Weighing Instrument Standardization Technical Committee is 34 who are the experts with the expert higher theoretical level,more abundant practically experienced in the field of weighing instrument and specializes in production,use,sell,scientific research,teaching and supervision of weighing instrument.Members are appointed by the National Standardization Management Committee.
The National Weighing Instrument Standardization Technical Committee Secretariat set up in Bluestar Shenyang Project & Research Institute of Light Industry Machinery.This institute belongs to the weighing instrument technology of Light Industry.It’s mainly in weighing instrument and it’s technology strength.Its entruste to the National Standardization Management Committee and China Light Industry Committee and deal with the routine of the committee under the leadership of director and general secretary.
Since the establishment of the National Weighing Instrument Standardization Technical Committee,it has revised for national standard and profession standard for several times.Make contributions to standard the production of weighing instrument, improve quality, promote trade.In the course of revising the standard,it’s used international standard and foreign standard actively,the standard rate is reached about 80%.
With rapid development of social economy and our country joins in WTO.The standardization work will be more and more important.A lot of model enterprises participate in enthusiastically and support the National Standardization Technical Committee work actively.The committee not merely has committee member's unit including nearly one hundred communication member units.At present,the National Weighing Instrument Standardization Technical Committee is playing an important role in this profession,the technological activity of relevant fields and international exchange.We sincerely welcome who is the unit and join the National Standardization Technical Committee.
